Thread: Dhul Qada Campaign

From the 1^st of Zilqada to 10^th of Zilhijja are the days of Arbaeen-e-Kalimiyyah. These are the forty days when Nabi Musa (a.s) went on Mount Tur for Munajat from Allah (swt). Initially it was to be for 30 days, another 10 days were added to make it 40 days as mentioned in Sura A’araaf - Aayat 143. During these days recitation of 'LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH ' is mustahab and very much stressed. (Source: Tazkiye Nafs by Ayatullah Misbah Yazdi).
The declaration of the oneness of Allah and the denial of the existence of any other deity is the ground root of the religion of Islam.

Imam Hussain(a.s)’s journey to Kerbala and his sacrifices were in order to preserve “LA ILAHA ILLALLAH”!
And this is the first of three sacred months mentioned in the Holy Quran. In this month supplications made for fulfilment of crucial and very neccessary needs are heard and accepted.

Some sayings about 'LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH '

The Holy Prophet had said:
"The best worships are the recital of invocation ‘there is no god but God.’" (Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 93, p-195.)

"The phrase -"there is no god but God " -is the chief and most distinguished among all other phrases of invocations."(Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 93, p-204.)

The Holy Prophet had narrated from Arch Angel Gabriel (a.s) that God-Almighty said:
"The phrase -There is no god but God -is the most stable shelter of Mine. Whoever entered in it shall be immune from My Punishment”(Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 93 p-192.)

Imam Ali Raza (a.s)- "The kalima of LA ILAHA ILLALLAH is my fort; whoever said it would enter my fort; and whoever entered my fort was safe from my punishment".

So we at Shiaforums are embarking a new campaign of the recitation of 'LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH ' for this month.
We will try and reach as many recitations as possible.
