    there is another narration which has surprised me
    may be some one with good knowledge of rijal would come to my help

    this narration comes from tareekh baghdaad, vol 15, page 551-
    i have given scan in the last post as well

    but i did not underline it then
    since i noticed it now

    let me share it
    and then we see the main thing which is in the footnotes

    "mutraf bin abdullah bin mutraf al-sayari asked imam malik regarding saying of umar about iraq ( with incurable disease); he said "destruction in religion and abu hanifa is included in this"

    bashar awad maroof criticizes mutraf saying that

    isnaad daif, mutraf is mutraf bin abdullah al sayari; he is thiqa, but he said that he narrated from malik rejected narrations


    however, if we see ibn hajar writing about him; he did not mention any such thing

    [329] خ ت ق البخاري والترمذي وابن ماجة مطرف بن عبد الله بن مطرف بن سليمان بن يسار اليساري الهلالي أبو مصعب المدني مولى ميمونة وأمه أخت مالك روى عن خاله مالك بن أنس



    so, malik bin anas was his uncle; and he is a narrator of bukhari, tirmidhi and ibn maja

    and over all, he was termed thiqa by ibn hajar in taqreeb

    6707- مطرف ابن عبد الله ابن مطرف اليساري بالتحتانية والمهملة المفتوحتين أبو مصعب المدني ابن أخت مالك ثقة


    now,i dont know know what was the source of bashar for saying so.....................

    i do know that he was criticized by some like

    قال بن أبي حاتم سئل أبي عنه فقال مضطرب الحديث صدوق

    ibn abhi hatim asked his father about him; so he said: he is disturbed in hadeth but truthful


    and

    ibn addi also criticized him;

    however, he was termed thiqa as per darqutni, ibn haban and ibn saad
    and of course, ibn hajar considered him thiqa

    so, i dont know why bashar tried to weaken this narration when we do have a strong and sahih witness for this narration, which none other than bashar himself termed sahih
    this one

    وقال جعفر حدثنا الحسن بن علي الحلواني قال سمعت مطرفا يقول سمعت مالكا يقول الداء العضال الهلاك في الدين وأبو حنيفة من الداء العضال

    Mutrif said: ‘I heard Malik saying the error must be extinguished from religion and Abu Hanifa was an error’


    researcher of the book, bashar says; isnaad sahih

    [tareekh baghdaad, vol 15, page 552]

    i hope some one would explain why bashar said this and what was his source............

    "au'zai and sufian said that ‘No one was born in Islam more unfortunate : and shafai said more evil than : on the Muslims other than him"


    bashar said: isnaad sahih, narrators thiqa

    also

    Sufyan said: ‘No one was born in Islam more harmful than Abu Hanifa’


    bashar said: isnaad sahih

    we read the following in Tarikh Baghdad, Volume 15 page 556:

    حدثني الأزهري أخبرنا محمد بن العباس قال حدثنا عبد الله بن إسحاق المدائني حدثنا احمد بن موسى الحزامي حدثنا هدبة وهو بن عبد الوهاب حدثنا أبو إسحاق الطالقاني قال سمعت عبد الله بن المبارك يقول من كان عنده كتاب حيل أبي حنيفة يستعمله أو يفتي به فقد بطل حجه وبانت منه امرأته فقال مولى بن المبارك يا أبا عبد الرحمن ما أدري وضع كتاب الحيل إلا شيطان فقال بن المبارك الذي وضع كتاب الحيل أشر من الشيطان

    Abu Ishaq al-Taleqani said: ‘I heard Abdullah bin al-Mubarak saying: ‘Anyone that owns the book of Abu Hanifa and uses it and spreads the opinions with it, will cause his Hajj to become void and his wife shall no longer remain lawful for him’ Then the slave of Ibn al-Mubarak said: ‘I think the one who wrote the book is Satan’. Ibn al-Mubarak replied: ‘The one who wrote the book is worse than Satan’.

    we read the following in Tarikh Baghdad, Volume 15 page 561:

    أخبرنا العتيقي حدثنا يوسف بن احمد الصيدلاني حدثنا محمد بن عمرو العقيلي حدثني زكريا بن يحيى الحلواني قال سمعت محمد بن بشار العبدي بندارا يقول قلما كان عبد الرحمن بن مهدي يذكر أبا حنيفة علي إلا قال كان بينه وبين الحق حجاب

    Abdulrahman bin Mahdi said: ‘There was a wall between Abu Hanifa and the truth’

    let us pay attention to another book, it is kitab us sunnah by abdullah bin ahmad bin hanbal
    and it takhreej has been done by mohammad bin saeed bin salim al qahtani
