Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr ibn Abi Qahafeh was one of the special companions of Imam Ali (a.s) and he was supposed to be Imam Ali's son because his mother, Asma' Bint Umais, was firstly the wife of Ja'far ibn Abitalib and then became the wife of Abi Bakr and gave birth to him during the last pilgrimage of the holy prophet (Hajjatul Vida) at the ninth year A.H.
After the death of Abi Bark, Imam Ali (a.s) chose Asma' as his wife and she gave birth to Yahya and Muhammad was trained beside Imam Ali (a.s).
He was a brave, kind and virtuous man insofar as Imam Ali (a.s) said about him: Muhammad is my son but he has originated from Abi Bakr.
Muhammad failed and escaped to a ruin. Muawiat ibn Khadij found him and decapitated his head and placed his body into the womb of an animal and burned it. Muhammad was 28 years old at that time.
